Mini Album Kits are a SUCCESS!!!!!

Hi ......I am soooo very excited. My 2 mini album kits are almost sold out.....I think I have one of the vintage heart kit left. I never in my wildest dreams thought that I would be making SCRAPBOOK KITS. I wanted to do it...but, with the economy and everything.....I was SCARED!!!!Didn't want to buy a bunch of supplies and then not be able to sell them.....SO....I started with some paper I had and pulled everything from my personal stash and ..VOILA...A kit was born. Then the AMAZING thing happened I had interest in MORE THAN THE ONE I MADE.....so I hurried and found more paper and created 3 more.....of those there is one left.

The next mini kit was with the G45 "Once Upon A SPringtime" that I think everyone loves. Again, pulling items from my personal stash and adding a few things from Michaels....it came together. The reaction again was phenominal and I am so flattered that you gals actually LIKE MY CREATIONS!!!!

So, now the question is, what to do next.....I am thinking "Le Romantique"??????I know a lot of gals already have this line.....but, it is the bling and embellishments that really make the kit......I also believe that it is all in the details...it saves you time and money running around trying to find all the little goodies that I incorporate into each mini. I also like to do a lot of personalizing of the items for you...so that it is a "one of a kind" mini album kit...creating exclusively for you.

Swaps on hold

well, all swaps have been put on hold until the new year. My surgery has been postponed until...who knows when.

I am trying not to get involved in to many swaps....but, I am and I did...In Nov I'm doing the junque charm swap...perfect for me...i've never made one so this is a learning experience. The cookie tag exchange....my favorite cookie.....Sweet & Salty Oatmeal Crisps....yum....ALso doing a mini swap with Lianne from the UK.....can't wait to see what she makes for me....will post some pics of the mini I'm doing for her. Lianne suffers from Fibro as well so we have a bit in common apart from scrapping.

Not much else going on in my little corner of the world.

Life........

Wow, as i look at this last post, it has been almost 2 1/2 months since I have been on my blog. Bad, bad blogger....

Life has been rather exciting and fun. I am hosting a couple of swaps at " The Scrap Beach". We have a monthly handmade flower swap and , let me tell you, the flowers these girls make are scrumdiddlyumptious. I also have added a pin swap to the mix and these are gorgeous as well. These gals come up with some ingenious items to imcorporate into their pins.

I also swap charms with Cindy...she puts us in groups of 8 and the charms have been so very pretty. Look forward to that swap evey month.

JoAnn Mckenzie has also got a swap together for charms. This will be the first month for this swap.

Eve Louw is hosting a swap of tag images. Can't wait to see what I get back from that. That would save on buying all the stamps I want...hehhehehe. You send in 2 sets of 10 tags stamped with 2 different stamps and Eve will swap them out and send back. Eve is in Ireland!!!

Life at the scrap beach

I have found a great forum that never fails to excite me everyday. We are a group of ladies that love to make minis and swap everything. AND, if you need or want something, there is usually someone there who will share it with you. They are loving, sharing artists from all over the globe.

And for fun....we have an ATC swap going on monthly, a 6 X 6 paper and goodies swap monthly, just paper 6X6 swap monthly, handmade flowers monthly. and soon all the mini swaps will start back up. Ohhhh, I forgot the tag swap.

There is also a place to sell or trade your supplies if you want.

It's a great place to be able to come to and relax and chat...lot of that going on!!!lol

And, we also have a virtual crop each month. Haven't been able to get to that yet, but, hope to participate in the next one. They have some really good prizes!!!

Made a lot of wonderful friends on the board......fun, fun, fun.
